For digital fundraisers, community managers, online communicators and activists, the outlook in 2017 has never been more complex.

Yet for those who know how to engage with audiences effectively the opportunity digital offers to advance your cause has never been greater.

Aiming to help you get the most out of your digital channels, this hands-on workshop combines the latest trends in nonprofit development, fundraising, technology & social activism.

Key highlights:

  • Connect and network with nonprofit leaders and innovators.
  • Leverage best practice to transform how you connect with your donors, supporters and constituents.
  • Learn how nonprofits are making impact using social, mobile and cloud technologies.

Connected Fundraising at Scale (Talk & Discussion)

With so much data available, and on so many channels, it can be difficult to understand how to create a connected donor experience. This deep-dive presentation will focus on the importance of planning your engagement journeys, using automation and data to deliver personal fundraising at scale.

Building Social Campaigns (Workshop)

We will look at the key elements behind a successful social media strategy for nonprofit activists, with a focus on new platforms and formats. A creative exercise of meme generation will shed new light on the challenges and opportunities in the quest for viral impact.

Lean Marketing for Maximising Impact (Talk & Workshop)

The media landscape is changing fast. Channels that worked yesterday can be saturated tomorrow. Today we don’t have to rely solely on past experience and gut feeling when deciding on a marketing strategy. We will investigate the world of ‘lean marketing’ to find out how testing and agile data analysis can increase donor and supporter acquisition.

Websites that Drive Action (Workshop)

Well structured storytelling can used as a central principle for digital content & website information design. The key takeaway will be an applied method that can be equally extended to any form of communication - through email marketing and social media
